This year's conference will bring together presenters, speakers, experts and panelists, both local and international, who will talk about developments in the field of mental health, with approaches based on community mental health, to reduce the vulnerabilities that affect the Dominican population both on the island and in the United States.
For this first ever Binational Conference between the United States and the Dominican Republic, we are seeking submissions that can provide information and share best practices in the following nine topic areas:

- Domestic violence
- Substance abuse and addiction
- Homelessness
- Social determinants of health
- Child and adolescent intervention and prevention services
- Family and elder services
- The importance of self-care for the caregiver
