2nd LBHC Symposium (2012)

This symposium addressed the challenge and the problem of Mental Health among the Latino community and included topics such as Cultural Elements in Treating Latino populations and Growing up in a Latino Community. This symposium offered an opportunity for regional consumers, caregivers, professionals, managers and academics and researchers to share ideas, access professional development opportunities, and engage in networking and debate. 

The symposium aimed to encourage debate that will challenge current knowledge and ideas about mental health care by promoting a better understanding of mental illness and mental wellbeing in the community.
