Mind Your Mind:Let's Talk, Listen, and Heal Together
Overview
We are pleased to invite you to participate in our next international symposium, "Mind Your Mind: Let's Talk, Listen, and Heal Together", which will be held on November 12, 2024 in the beautiful Dominican Republic.
Following the successful event held in November 2023, this symposium serves as a springboard for our multi-day conference scheduled for November 2025.
Our goal is to continue fostering dialogue and learning in the field of mental health, addressing critical issues such as stigma, violence, work burnout, forensic psychology and many others.
We want to create a space where professionals can share knowledge, experiences and strategies to face these challenges.

Keynote Speaker
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Joel Núñez will be the featured speaker at our upcoming event in the Dominican Republic in November 2024.
Dr. Núñez, a distinguished expert in behavioral health, has been a key collaborator with the Latino Behavioral Health Coalition (LBHC). His recent participation in May 2024, where he led a talk focused on culturally responsive mental health practices, was highly impactful.
Dr. Núñez’s extensive experience in combating mental health stigma, trauma, and culturally informed care makes him an invaluable asset to our conference.
His expertise will guide our discussions as we continue to build on the successes of past events, including the 1st Binational Conference in 2023, to advance our mission of improving mental health outcomes in Latino communities.
